This is the first meeting of 2010. Mentor Julie Aziz prepared and led a lesson on self-esteem. We had a guest speaker as well, Adriane Lawton, who led an interactive time with the girls regarding the subject of self-esteem.

After our regular gathering with the girls, we took those who could stay to Fayetteville Public Library to hear a new young author, Noni Carter, discuss her book “Good Fortune” and sign copies. Our purpose for this outing was to encourage the girls to ask God for His purpose for them and to dream, dream big! To see a vision can be given to you many years before it comes to pass.
