Marriage Ministry

Redemption Fellowship Marriage Ministry understands the marriage union to be a gift from GOD.  Assuredly, when GOD gave that gift to people, He meant for it to bring unity, happiness, affirmation and love to husband and wife.

Our vision is to help couples reflect the holiness of GOD’s character while they enjoy the commitment they have made to one another.  Yes, we do believe that marriage is a wonderful gift to both male and female.

Our mission takes the small group structure to affirm each couple in building up confidence in their marriage while providing workshops, conferences, classes and fellowships designed to give each person the challenge to grow in maturity as a Christian disciple.

“Didn’t the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard yourself; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.” – Malachi 2:15 (New Living Translation)

The recommended reading for the Marriage Ministry is Each for the Other: Marriage As It’s Meant To Be by Bryan and Kathy Chapell.  All participants are asked to obtain a copy of the book, which can be obtained through Christianbook.com or Amazon.com.  The book description provided on Amazon.com states – “Marriage requires not just love, but sacrificial love, says Bryan Chapell. In his newly revised and updated book, Each for the Other, he shows married couples how to emulate the unselfish, sacrificial love of Christ. The Marriage Ministry typically meets the second Sunday of each month.  The session will end with a Marriage Retreat, which will take place in February.  Stay tuned for details.
