Angel Tree Donations

Hello Redemption Family,

First, we would like to say “Thank You” on behalf of all the families that received the Thanksgiving baskets you made possible. We were able to bless 17 families this year.  Truly a blessing for us and them.

Now, it’s that time of year again – a time for us to show what Christian love and the real meaning of Christmas is all about.  Let’s help families of those less fortunate to experience the same joy on Christmas morning that our families will enjoy.  Every mother wants to see the the light and excitement in their children’s eyes on Christmas morning, so let’s help make that happen.

We have once again partnered with The Promise Place, a shelter for battered women and children.  Last year God’s blessings allowed us to make Christmas morning magical for several families and we would like to see that happen again this year.

On our Christmas Angel Tree in the foyer at the church, you will find several ornaments that show the wish list for a member of a family in need of some Christian love at Christmas.  Please pick a family member from the list or join with another family to fulfill a request.  We work well together.  Please leave the gifts unwrapped, include the family number because no names are used, and have at church by Sunday, December 22nd.

Ornament selection and gift drop off opportunities include:
* Wednesday evenings during Wednesday Night Bible Study (from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
* Thursday evenings during Praise Team Rehearsal (begins at 7 p.m.)
* Sunday mornings during Sunday School (9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
* Sunday Morning Worship Service (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

We can do this Redemption, so let’s band together and show the true meaning of Christmas.

Thank you in advance for all you do.  Contact Deacon Dexter Bostic for any questions.
