Food Bank Monthly Collection

ATTN:  RFC Family

Redemption is collecting donations for the Food Bank to support the Fayette Samaritans, which is a Christian ministry serving those in need in Fayette County by providing food, clothing, and financial assistance. Each Sunday, there will be a collection box in the Fellowship Hall.  All members are asked to bring non-perishable food items and place them in the box.  These items will be collected and donated to the Fayette Samaritans each fourth Sunday. Please continue to help in this effort to feed the hungry by placing one or more non perishable items in the donation box each week.

While all items are appreciated, they have asked if we could help especially with the staple items listed below:

Canned tuna
Peanut Butter
Rice
Dried Beans
Cornbread Mix
Canned fruit/vegetables
Applesauce
Pasta sauce
Toiletries
Feminine Products

They also made an appeal for clothing donations.  At this time there is a special need for boys clothing:  shirts, underwear, socks, etc (all sizes).

Thank you and may God richly bless you.

If you have any questions about the Food Bank donations, please contact Sister Chantal Bartley or Sister Dolores Bennett.

Ladies Intercessory Prayer Meeting

Attention Ladies of Redemption:

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend our next Ladies of RFC Intercessory Meeting, which is scheduled to take place on the last Sunday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church in the Redemption Fellowship Women’s Sunday School Room. The intercessory prayer team would like for all who can attend to join them in prayer.  On this day, we will have 75 minutes of prayer in lieu of study.  All women are encouraged to attend.  We will begin prayer promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Please note that our regular Sunday School Class will resume on the first Sunday of next month.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. – 1 Tim 2:1-2 (NIV)

… The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – James 5:16 (NIV)
