II.
Summary Statement of Overall Purpose/Goal of Position –
Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager, provide financial administrative assistance to the accounting functions.

III.    Essential Duties –

* Church Planter budgets:
~ Review assigned accounts received from the Financial Analyst for church planters on monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis to determine payouts.  This involves the following:
- Review the Gift Detail Report to determine potential delinquency on pledges and noting this on the review document.
- Update the CP’s budget with actual expenses and amend/extend support according to current funds available.
- Determine if core giving is as expected and whether expenses exceed CP’s plan.
- Forward review information to Financial Analyst for contact with the CP.
~ Contact apprentices once every three months to update status.
~ Process CP expense reimbursement requests as needed
~ Responsible to maintain and update all church planter procedures when needed.  Procedures should be reviewed on at least a quarterly basis for any necessary revisions.

* PCA Five Million Loan Fund:
~ Maintain waiting list for funds
~ Update Associate Coordinator, Accounting Manager, and Financial Analyst monthly with status report of fund activity
~ Contact churches to begin application process
~ Receive financial documentation package  from applying churches and key in appropriate financial information
~ Send package to Financial Analyst for review/approval
~ Maintain repayment schedules
~ Review past due balances and send reminder/past due letters as necessary

* Maintain equipment inventory:
~ Via addition-transfer/disposal forms, ensure that all assets are properly added, transferred, or disposed of
~ Conduct annual inventory
~ Issue asset tags as needed

* Committee Reports:
~ Provide budget information on all new and revised CP budgets for bi-annual MNA Committee meetings.
~ Send information to Financial Analyst for review/approval.

* Timothy Fund:
~ Maintain spreadsheet on Timothy Fund to include all gifts received, fund repayments, and funds issued on a monthly basis.
~ Give spreadsheet to Financial Analyst for review/approval after updating each month.

* Daily gift processing:
~ Process daily incoming donations via check batching procedures on a scheduled rotation per established procedures.

IV. Other Duties –
* Assist with annual audit to include, but not limited to:  prepare and mail donor tax statements and provide requested backup.
* Provide vacation/sick day front desk/receptionist duties
* Maintain a variety of reports, records and files, including updating church planter documents as needed.
* Operate computer and related office equipment.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Administrator, Accounting Manager or Financial Analyst.

Mission to the World is seeking a full-time Director for Marketing and Communication.

The primary responsibility will be to grow the programs of the organization through the implementation of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan.   Working through available external resources and through relationships with key leaders, this person will develop the marketing plan and ensure its relevance to the values, vision and objectives of the mission.

Another significant aspect of this position will be to supervise organizational communications.  Both internet and print publications are in view, as well as social media.

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with established promotional and leadership abilities. He or she will also possess strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.  Candidates will also be trustworthy, flexible, able to prioritize, and handle a wide variety of tasks with time constraints, and be proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Experience in creative marketing through both print and electronic media as well as brand management is preferred.  Project management skills (initiation, planning, execution, closure, evaluation) are also strongly encouraged. Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is required. While helpful but not required, is a basic knowledge of the PCA, previous work within a non-profit environment and prior mission’s experience.

This position is located in the Atlanta, GA area with some travel required.

Job Title:  Business Manager

The PCA Foundation (PCAF) is a full-service charitable financial services provider and an Agency of the Presbyterian Church in America.  The PCAF’s purpose is to use its assets for the support of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, made possible by providing to God’s people charitable financial services, enabling them to carry out their charitable desires and stewardship responsibilities.

The PCAF has experienced significant growth in recent years and is well-positioned for continued growth.  The PCAF is conducting a search for a Business Manager with the ability and skill set to help achieve this continued growth.  This position reports directly to the President.

The Business Manager will be responsible for the PCAF’s general business and administrative functions, oversight of financial functions/reporting, will manage the Lawrenceville GA staff, and provide assistance to the President as needed and/or assigned. Responsibilities will also include liaison with the PCAF’s trust company and other financial institutions and investment advisors, working with prospective and existing donors, involvement with gifting arrangements and agreements, developing and making presentations, and performing various administrative and financial functions.

Requirements for this position:

~ a Christian whose life reflects mature spiritual growth with a high commitment to ministry
~ active in an evangelical church,  membership in a PCA church a plus.
~ minimum 4 year degree, preferably in business, 2-5 years business experience
~ have experience in or understanding of business administration, financial functions/reporting, investments, computer systems/applications, accounting and general corporate matters
~ staff management experience, strong people skills
~ proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required, knowledge of Blackbaud’s Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge software a plus.
~ experience working with attorneys, CPAs and other business professionals preferred
~ strong interpersonal and communication (written, oral) skills
~ have strong self-motivation with a high energy level, be organized and have ability to work, respond and lead in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
~ desire to serve others and be a key player in a small team environment

The Education Directorate of the American Psychological Association has an immediate opening for an Associate Executive Director for Graduate and Postgraduate Education. This position will direct, coordinate, and evaluate Education Directorate programs and initiatives related to graduate and postgraduate education in psychological science with an emphasis on academic, non-clinical domains.

This is a senior staff position within the Education Directorate. Applicant should have demonstrated leadership skills in academic psychology and higher education with evidence of national recognition and reputation within scientific psychology communities. Applicant will interact extensively with APA governance leaders at all levels (including the Board of Directors and Council of Representatives) and with leaders of national and international groups outside the APA that are focused on issues of graduate and postdoctoral education and training in psychology and other academic disciplines.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in psychology, APA Fellow preferred. Successful candidates will have at least 7-10 postdoctoral years of academic leadership experience in graduate and postgraduate education and training of academic psychologists, with particular focus on teaching, research, and other scholarly activities in higher education related to academic psychology.
