ATTN:  RFC Family and Friends –

Please join us on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 for Bible Study and Corporate Prayer.  These events will be combined into one session on Wednesday evenings.  The schedule for this combined session of Bible Study and Prayer will be:

* 6:45 pm – 7:00 pm – Snack
* 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Bible Study
* 8:00 pm – 8:30 pm – Prayer

Bible Study provides an in-depth study of the Books of the Bible and is geared towards helping participants gain a better understanding of God’s Word and grow in Christian character.  It also provides an opportunity for members to connect and learn with each other while continuing to grow their personal relationship with God.

Corporate Prayer is a time for praying for your needs as well as for the needs of others.  Jesus promised: “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

Please plan to come out each Wednesday night as we continue to study God’s Word and pray for the needs of our church and beyond.  Everyone is welcome.  We look forward to seeing you.

Attention Redemption Fellowship Church Family:

Please mark your calendars for an exciting experience for our Teens!!!

The Teen Ministry is excited to launch Wednesday Night Vibe, a monthly Bible Study experience. Vibe will be a small group gathering where teens can fellowship and converse about the word of God in a relaxed, chill environment. Each month’s lesson will address biblical principles that can help them experience the love of God and prayerfully come to a deeper understanding of the power of Jesus Christ in school, at home, and in the world.

The next gathering will take place Wednesday, November 20th, in the Teen Room during Wednesday Bible Study/Prayer from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.   If you have any questions, please see Bro. Jaren Turner.

Family Worship – December

Posted on Oct 02 , 2019 in Happenings & Ministry Updates

Attention: All Parents

Please remember that Sunday, December 1st is Family Worship Sunday.  These Sundays provide time for our families to worship together and for recognizing our time for Communion.  All students will remain in the Sanctuary during our worship service today.

Due to a decrease in our nursery workers and an increased need for at least two, or sometimes more, nursery workers each Sunday, the Nursery will NOT be open on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Worship Sunday.  The nursery will be available for mothers and their babies only if needed for privacy in tending to their needs.

Angel Tree Donations

Posted on Oct 02 , 2019 in Happenings & Ministry Updates

Hello Redemption Family,

First, we would like to say “Thank You” on behalf of all the families that received the Thanksgiving baskets you made possible. We were able to bless 15 families this year.  Truly a blessing for us and them.

Now, it’s that time of year again – a time for us to show what Christian love and the real meaning of Christmas is all about.  Let’s help families of those less fortunate to experience the same joy on Christmas morning that our families will enjoy.  Every mother wants to see the the light and excitement in their children’s eyes on Christmas morning, so let’s help make that happen.

We have once again partnered with The Promise Place, a shelter for battered women and children.  Last year God’s blessings allowed us to make Christmas morning magical for several families and we would like to see that happen again this year.

On our Christmas Angel Tree in the foyer at the church, you will find several ornaments that show the wish list for a member of a family in need of some Christian love at Christmas.  Please pick a family member from the list or join with another family to fulfill a request.  We work well together.  Please leave the gifts unwrapped, include the family number because no names are used, and have at church by Sunday, December 15th.

Ornament selection and gift drop off opportunities include:
* Wednesday evenings during Wednesday Night Bible Study (from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
* Thursday evenings during Praise Team Rehearsal (begins at 7 p.m.)
* Sunday mornings during Sunday School (9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
* Sunday Morning Worship Service (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

We can do this Redemption, so let’s band together and show the true meaning of Christmas.

Thank you in advance for all you do.
