Corporate Prayer – October 2nd

Posted on Sep 12 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates & Prayer

Attention Redemption Fellowship Family,

Jesus said, “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Matthew 18:19-20

On behalf of Pastor Causey, Ted and Martha Barnett invite everyone who can to join together Tuesday, October 2nd, at 7 PM for an hour of corporate prayer.  We start at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall with a great time of Praise and Worship guided by the Word.  Then after a time of quiet confession and cleansing we give specific thanks for many answers to prayer and provisions from God.

This is followed by a time of interceding for others and each other.  All of the prayer time is relaxed and joyful conversational prayer, moving from one topic to another.  Come, if you can, come on time, and let’s unite around the Lord Jesus!

Family Worship

Posted on Sep 12 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates

Attention: All Parents

Please remember that Sunday, October 7th is Family Worship Sunday.  These Sundays provide time for our families to worship together and for recognizing our time for Communion.  All students will remain in the Sanctuary during our worship service today.

Due to a decrease in our nursery workers and an increased need for at least two, or sometimes more, nursery workers each Sunday, the Nursery will NOT be open on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Worship Sunday.  The nursery will be available for mothers and their babies only if needed for privacy in tending to their needs.

For any questions, please see Elder Frank Brown.

Corporate Prayer – October 9th

Posted on Sep 12 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates & Prayer

Dear Redemption Family

We invite as many as can come  to join together Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 7 p.m. for an hour of being together in the Lord’s presence!  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Corporate Prayer.

Please feel free to contact us with any special testimonies of answers to prayers and /or requests if you can not attend!

Corporate Prayer is a time for praying for your needs as well as for the needs of others.  There are many ways to love one’s neighbor, but prayer is one of the most powerful.  The Lord instructed us to pray not only for our own personal needs but to reach out and pray for others as well. Jesus promised: “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). One of the most powerful ways we can pray is together with others.

During times of Corporate Prayer, prayers of intercession can be offered on behalf of your friends, family, co-workers, and so on  - for their needs, concerns, health problems, etc.

Corporate Prayer – October 16th

Posted on Sep 11 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates & Prayer

Attention Redemption Fellowship Family:

Redemption Fellowship’s Corporate Prayer takes place each Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Intercessory Prayer will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the church from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Everyone is asked to please come and join us in corporate prayer.  An agenda will be given so that we can pray on one accord.  In order for the vision of Redemption Fellowship to grow, it must be spirit-led.  This is achieved through united corporate prayer.

The word of God instructs us in Luke 18:1, “… that men ought always pray and not faint”.  Also, the Bible states in Philippians 4:6-7, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
