RFC’s Wednesday Night Bible Study

Posted on May 19 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates

Attention:  Redemption Fellowship Church Members, Family, and Friends

Life is so busy – with so many places to be, so many things to do, and so much we are responsible for. We encourage you to take a break from your hectic schedule to join us for Wednesday Night Bible Study.

The study takes place each Wednesday night here at Redemption Fellowship Church from 7 pm to 7:50 pm.  Studying the Bible is one of the most important things a Christian can ever do.  God still speaks and one of the ways He speaks to us is through a careful study of His word.

Wednesday Night Bible Study provides an in-depth study of the Books of the Bible and is geared towards helping participants gain a better understanding of God’s Word and grow in Christian character.  It also provides an opportunity for members to connect and learn with each other while continuing to grow their personal relationship with God.

Everyone is welcome to join us.  We have something for all age groups.  We look forward to seeing you the next time we meet.

Corporate Prayer – May 22nd

Posted on May 17 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates & Prayer

Attention Redemption Fellowship Family,

Jesus said, “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Matthew 18:19-20

On behalf of Pastor Causey, Ted and Martha Barnett invite everyone who can to join together Tuesday, May 22nd, at 7 PM for an hour of corporate prayer.  We start at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall with a great time of Praise and Worship guided by the Word.  Then after a time of quiet confession and cleansing we give specific thanks for many answers to prayer and provisions from God.

This is followed by a time of interceding for others and each other.  All of the prayer time is relaxed and joyful conversational prayer, moving from one topic to another.  Come, if you can, come on time, and let’s unite around the Lord Jesus!

Food Collection for May

Posted on May 17 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates

ATTN:  Redemption Fellowship Family

Our effort to help feed the hungry is on-going. The need is definitely there as one in five people in the state of Georgia struggles with hunger – many of them are children.

The Fayette Samaritans is a Christian ministry serving those in need by providing food, clothing, and financial assistance. Please continue to help in our effort to collect donations for the Samaritans Food Bank to feed the hungry by placing one or more non perishable items in the donation box each week.  All donations are gathered on the fourth Sunday of each month and are delivered soon afterwards to the Samaritans.

Collection of the donations for the month of August will take place Sunday, May 27, 2018. If you and your family are able, please bring a donation for the Food Bank with you to service this Sunday.

While all items are appreciated, the Samaritans have asked if we could help especially with the staple items listed below:

Canned tuna
Peanut Butter
Rice
Dried Beans
Cornbread Mix
Canned fruit/vegetables
Applesauce
Pasta sauce
Toiletries
Feminine Products

They also made an appeal for clothing donations.  At this time there is a special need for boys clothing:  shirts, underwear, socks, etc (all sizes).  Many thanks for all of the donations that have been made thus far.  All items donated are delivered and recorded as coming from Redemption Fellowship Church.

If you have any questions about the Food Bank donations, please contact Sister Chantal Bartley or Sister Dolores Bennett.

Thank you and may God richly bless you.

Corporate Prayer – May 29th

Posted on May 17 , 2018 in Announcements & Ministry Updates & Prayer

Dear Redemption Family

We invite as many as can come  to join together Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 7 p.m. for an hour of being together in the Lord’s presence!  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Corporate Prayer.

Please feel free to contact us with any special testimonies of answers to prayers and /or requests if you can not attend!

Corporate Prayer is a time for praying for your needs as well as for the needs of others.  There are many ways to love one’s neighbor, but prayer is one of the most powerful.  The Lord instructed us to pray not only for our own personal needs but to reach out and pray for others as well. Jesus promised: “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). One of the most powerful ways we can pray is together with others.

During times of Corporate Prayer, prayers of intercession can be offered on behalf of your friends, family, co-workers, and so on  - for their needs, concerns, health problems, etc.
