Women’s Bible Study – One In A Million

Attention All Ladies of Redemption Fellowship:

Join Priscilla Shirer on an exploration of the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness in One In A Million as she encourages participants to fully engage in the abundant life God has waiting for those who will allow Him to take the lead in daily living. One In A Million is an opportunity for you to experience your deliverance from strongholds, to conquer your wilderness living, and to claim your God-given inheritance.

In this six week study, which began on Tuesday, January 10th, the same topic will be offered twice a week.  The sessions will be held on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.  For this Bible Study, participants will need to purchase a workbook, which costs $6.  A potluck fellowship will take place at the end of the study for all those who participated.

Attention Redemption Fellowship:

The Prayer Vigil for the month of February is scheduled for Friday, February 3rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church. Everyone is asked to please come and bring your prayer requests before the Lord. 

In order for the vision of Redemption Fellowship to grow, it must be spirit-led.  This is achieved through united corporate prayer.

The word of God instructs us in Luke 18:1,”… that men ought always pray and not faint”.

Attention All Parents:

The first rehearsal for the month of February for the Angels Choir will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.  The Angels Choir is open to all members between the ages of 5 and 11.  The Angels Choir will be singing the 4th Sunday in February and every fourth Sunday this year.

Rehearsals for the Angels Choir are held twice per month.  The split rehearsals will be directed by Jarvis Ridges and Akilah Harris.  Having both Jarvis and Akilah partnering up will ensure consistency in the Angels Choir and prove beneficial to other ministries like Children’s Church, special events, and 4th Sundays where they will be able to render a selection.  A steady rehearsal schedule will also allow all parents who desire to have their youth participate to adjust schedules around set dates and times.  Also, through music, we are equipping our young people with Biblical Christian Faith.  Parents please consider bringing your young person out to the rehearsals both Saturdays at 10 am.

Attention All Redemption Fellowship Members:

There will be a congregational meeting immediately following worship services on Sunday, February 12th, 2012.

This is an important meeting as we will discuss matters that are important to our church.  Redemption Fellowship Church deacons and elders will also be on hand to answer questions.

All members are encouraged to attend this very important meeting so that each family will know what is going on in the life of our church.

Attention:  Members of Redemption Fellowship Church

The first practice meeting for the month of February for the Redemption Youth Dance Team will be held Sunday, February 12th, 2012 immediately following worship service in the Choir Room.  The Dance Team is open to all female members between the ages of 7 and 18.

Practice for the Dance Team will be held at 1 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month at the church.

The February session of its Dinner and a Movie event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the church.  Please plan to join us for a delicious meal and a wonderful presentation.  Also, if you can come out and help set up for the event, please contact Sister Shibana Cutter.

The Real Men Real Talk program offers real advice from real men talking about real issues that are important to all men, including money, love, marriage, children, health, relationships, sex, the economy, politics, self-esteem, anger, grief, depression, as well as tackling the issues of status and success.

ATTENTION: All Men of Redemption Fellowship

The next meeting for REAL MEN REAL TALK, which is scheduled to meet on the 4th Saturday of each month, will be held at Redemption Fellowship Church on Saturday, February 25th, 2012 from 9 – 11 a.m.  All men are asked to be a part of this event as REAL MEN REAL TALK delivers a much needed venue for the men of our church in 2012.
