The Easter Program will take place during Easter Sunday morning service, which is scheduled for Easter Morning, Sunday April 4th at 10 a.m.

Women’s Summit 2010 – Building Healthy Christian Relationships

Discussions encompassing ways to build healthy relationships in our everyday roles as mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, and friends.

Saturday, March 13th  from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  at Redemption Fellowship Church

Our guest speakers will be Mrs. Pamela Stringfield from Perimeter PCA in Atlanta and Mrs. Donna Causey from South Atlanta Community PCA in Fayetteville.  The program will also include uplifting music, powerful messages, as well as a Q and A session so that you can ask our speakers the questions that are important to you.

Registration for this event will continue through March 7th.  The registration fee is $10 and will include a catered lunch.  To register, please stop by the registration table after worship service at Redemption Fellowship Church any Sunday through March 7th OR you can download and print the registration form and mail it to the church along with your $10 registration fee.

Attention Redemption Fellowship Family:

The church is having its next Dinner and a Movie event on Wednesday, March 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the church.  The movie will be St. Patrick: The Irish Legend.

From IMDb: A young Christian boy attends a druid worship that is attacked by invading Irish tribes. Taken captive, he is taken back to Ireland to become a slave. Enduring many hardships, he finds comfort and eventually salvation in his faith. After several years, he escapes back to England, where he joins a convent to prove his faith. His greatest desire is to return to Ireland to convert the Irish to Christianity.

Years later, he is given the opportunity. Upon setting foot on the Irish soil, all snakes are automatically driven from the land. He then overcomes many obstacles, including disagreements with the British Cardinal, to fulfill his destiny and ultimately being given Sainthood.

Attention:  All Lay Leaders

There will be a lay leaders meeting on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.  This meeting will be hosted via conference call.  For information on how to access the conference via phone or computer, please contact Carter Savage or Edwina Cowgill in the church office.

Each Lay Leaders meeting will be held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. until further notice.

The Real Men Real Talk program offers real advice from real men talking about real issues that are important to all men, including money, love, marriage, children, health, relationships, sex, the economy, politics, self-esteem, anger, grief, depression, as well as tackling the issues of status and success.

Real Men Real Talk, which meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, will be held at Redemption Fellowship Church on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 8:00am.

H.O.T.  D.O.N.U.T.S. is an “open mic” event that allows Christian artists to present their gifts back to God in an open forum through various ministries–from music to spoken word.  It aims to promote sound doctrine and a Christian world view and provide a form of expression for Christians to perform and hone their varying talents.

We invite you our neighboring brothers and sisters in Christ to come and share this amazing time in fellowship with us.

Maundy Thursday Presentation

On Thursday, April 1, 2o1o at 7 p.m., there will be a dramatic presentation sponsored by the Music Department.  The title of the presentation is “Can I Get a Witness?”

The Good Friday services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 7 p.m.  This will be a joint service held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, where Rev. Thomas L. Myers is the Senior Pastor.  Covenant Presbyterian Church is located at 819 Highway 314 here in Fayetteville, one block north of Kenwood Road.  For directions, please contact their church office at (770) 460-9450.

On Sunday, April 4, 2010, Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 6:30 a.m. This portion will be followed by breakfast.

There will be no Sunday School on Easter Sunday morning and our morning services will begin one hour early.  The Children’s Easter Program is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Please make a note of the service times for this day.

April Fellowship

The Women’s Ministry of Redemption would like to invite all ladies to our April Fellowship.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 24th at 4:30 pm.  Details on location and directions to be announced.

Come share your ideas, connect with other women, and be inspired during this time of encouragement, fellowship, and fun.  This evening is designed to allow us to grow in faith and get to know each other better.  Refreshments will be served.
