Visitor Information

Redemption Fellowship Church, which is part of the Presbyterian Church in America, would like to invite you to visit us at our church.  We are located at 418 Highway 279 in Fayetteville, Georgia.  We at Redemption reach out to one and all saying “Come on in this house and Praise the Lord.”

Redemption is a church Fellowship; our fellowship is like that of the saints of old as in the Book of Acts where when the saints prayed the power of the Holy Ghost fell.  Redemption is also a church of worship.  Come and worship in a church where the presence of the Lord is felt and fills the temple.

We have a sanctuary that seats 500, a three-room nursery and a small children’s area.  We have conference rooms, classrooms, a fellowship hall, library and a choir room.  We are an evangelical non-traditional yet conservative African American church in Fayette County, Georgia.  We see Redemption Fellowship as a training station for ministry and as a model for future ministries in our community.

Come and share the Love of God with us.  We would like for your first visit to Redemption Fellowship Church to be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family.  We know that you will feel comfortable and right at home.

  • What to Expect?

We invite you to visit us at one of Sunday morning services.  At our service, you can expect warm greetings, an atmosphere for spiritual enrichment, a welcoming family environment, times of fellowship, uplifting musical worship with a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, prayer, Bible reading, and engaging and meaningful biblical messages presented by our pastor.  Our worship is enriching, inspirational, and insightful.

  • When Are Services?

We offer Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.  Sunday School takes place each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sunday morning worship service at 11 a.m.  At 7 p.m. on Wednesdays we gather for Adult Bible Study, Youth Group, Rites of Passage, and Children’s Ministry.  At these times, we come together to “study to show ourselves approved unto God.”

On Sunday mornings we come in at 9:30 a.m. ready to worship first by finding out more about the Word of God through Bible Study.  At our 11 a.m. worship service, expect in every part of the service to be blessed.  When you arrive for service, you will be greeted at the door by our ushers and given a printed bulletin which outlines the details of the day’s service.  Visitors and members of our church may sit wherever they fill comfortable or can ask for assistance from our warm and friendly ushers.  Service begins with a call to worship, followed by scripture reading, morning hymn and announcements.  We also take the time to recognize our first time visitors who have chosen to worship with us.  For the message, we have a man of God that articulates the anointed Word of God precept upon precept, line upon line, like a hammer that breaks rocks into pieces, like the fire that Jeremiah felt in his bones.

  • What should I wear?

At Redemption Fellowship there is no dress code for members or quests.  Many members of our congregation prefer to dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however our main goal is that you feel welcome during your visit to our church.  We are more concerned with meeting the spiritual needs of those who choose to worship with us than what our members and guests wear to church.

  • What about the children?

The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to provide a Christian education to children of all ages and to help them develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Children are taught to praise and worship the Lord in a fun, exciting and age appropriate manner.  We are proud to provide the Children’s worship area, with nursery, Sunday School, and Children’s Church.  Volunteers in this ministry are committed to sharing the love of Christ to all children.

  • What about giving?

One act of worship is to give back to God a portion of what He has given to us in a collected donation.  The time for offering is the period during the service designated for members to support the church.  As the offering trays are passed, members (and guests if they feel the desire) can put their offerings into the plate.  Visitors are asked to fill out the visitor cards that are handed out during the recognition of friends and place them in the offering plate during the time of offering.  These visitor cards allow us to have a record of your visit with us here at Redemption Fellowship Church.
