“Empowering People For Life,” through the gospel of Jesus Christ. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” – Romans 1:16a. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” – I Corinthians 1:18
WE WILL FULFILL OUR VISION THROUGH:
Empowering Leadership – The heart of empowering leadership is simple. Instead of the church being built centered upon the personality of one leader who seeks out others to fulfill his personal vision, at Redemption Fellowship, we empower leaders to assist you in discovering and releasing your God-given potential.
Gift-Oriented Ministry – We will assist you in discovering your spiritual gift. God has divinely gifted you and your gift is vital to the church’s ministry to the degree that the whole ministry is organized according to God’s divine pattern and as a result of being organized to God’s divine design.
Passionate Spirituality – Our desire is to inspire your passion for God so that you are enthusiastic concerning your love for Him and in your worship. Reading the Bible and spending quality time in prayer should not be viewed as a duty, but we should have an attitude of joy and enthusiasm as we approach God in prayer as well as when we read His Word. A church that is spiritually passionate for God will be a healthy growing church.
Functional Structures - We dare not tire you out by keeping you busy with programs, especially when they fail to spiritually enhance the totality of our membership. We want to design structures that accomplish our ministry goals and objectives, fulfill the purpose of our vision, and foster growth and multiplication of the church! If our structures are not helpful for this purpose, they have to change or be deleted.
Inspiring Worship – The ultimate goal of worship at Redemption is for our worshippers to experience the transcendent God and to be empowered by His presence. As a result, we will offer to Him adoration and praise for which He is worthy.
Holistic Ministry Groups – Our ministry groups will function as a safe place where you can freely and confidently express yourself. Here we operate out of a family environment where you are not afraid to be vulnerable. To be vulnerable is one essence of such a holistic group. The more groups move toward this category, the growth potential of our church will increase.
Need-Oriented Evangelism – The essence of need-oriented evangelism is that the Gospel at Redemption is preached and taught in ways that speak directly to your questions, fears, hurts, needs, and experiences. Our ministries are structured in ways that we touch your heart concerning your reality, fears, anxieties, and worries with the result of you being spiritually empowered to rise above them all.
Loving Relationships – Love is not just the feeling that comes sometimes and then goes away, but according to the Bible, love is action, deed, fruit — and we can create a community where this fruit can grow. So love has some very visible results. People can feel more loved in this setting. Redemption’s vision is to cultivate such a community.
