Pastor Mike’s vision for Redemption Fellowship is a church that is being transformed by the sanctifying grace of the Holy Spirit according to the Word of God found in Romans 12:2 which states, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
This renewing transformation comes from the Holy Spirit’s desire and ability to imprint the Word of God onto hearts in order that people might bring glory to God through knowing, loving, and worshipping Him. There are two aspects of this transformation. First, it involves the Communion that the people of God at Redemption Fellowship experience and partake in as members of the Body of Christ, and second it must impact the Community that our members live, work and play in everyday. If we are not transforming, then we are still conforming.
What does Redemption Fellowship need to be vital and relevant in building God’s Kingdom in Fayetteville, Georgia?
- A hunger for God’s Presence — which implies a repentance of sin and self-sufficiency.
- A willingness to do ministry in places that we have never done ministry before.
- A burden to pray for the lost, and then get out there into the highways and hedges and get busy.
- A renewed vigor for our internal ministries.
- An unwillingness to be distracted, detoured, or depressed by the Enemy’s schemes. This implies a prayer, sweat, and financial commitment by the members to the Mission.
- A lack of fear in the face of many challenges ahead.
- Every home will become a “House of God,” where there is teaching, prayer, and worship.
- The Worship Experience will be just short of heaven.
